This is a Keisei role based on a real prostitute that was repeatedly taken up in Kabuki or Ningyo-Joruri plays from the Genroku period. It can be seen in “Kuruwa Bunsho”.
In the picture, Yugiri appears in a typical costume for Keisei, wearing a wig of Date-Hyogo and a Uchikake coat with gorgeous embroidery.
