Minamiza Theatre
【南座（京都四条南座）】
【MINAMIZA(KYOTOSHIJOMINAMIZA)】
This is a theatre beside the Kamogawa river in Shijo, Kyoto. Its history is considered going back to as old as the Genna period (1615~1624). It used to be called “Minami no Shibai” and came to be named Minamiza after the mid-Meiji period.
As of 2017, the building is under repair.
