This is one of the roles of the Wagoto plays in Kamigata region. It refers to the role who has soft attractiveness but also resolute toughness of the Tachiyaku, without being feminine like the role of “Tsukkorobashi”. Fukuoka Mitsugi in “Iseondo Koi no Netaba” is a representative character. He is a handsome, Nimaime role expressed in the Wagoto style, but performed by “Pintokona” to show his tough nature as a samurai.
