Zamoto (proprietor) of the Nakamuraza Theatre belongs to this family. Zamoto serves as a manager who is responsible for everything going on inside the playhouse. The person serving as Zamoto of Nakamuraza called himself “Nakamura Kanzaburo” through generations. Some of them were also actors.
Since Nakamura Kanzaburo 17th who was active during the Showa period, their specialization completely shifted to acting.
