It is a theatre once located in Dotonbori, Osaka. Though regretted by people, the theatre was closed in 1999.
The history of Nakaza goes back to as old as the year of 1652. There used to be three large playhouses in a row in Dotonbori. Nakaza was called “a theatre in the middle” as it stood between the other two. Even in the modern times, Nakaza, as a long-established theatre, played a central role among the theatrical stages in Osaka.
