  • Entire stage(from the second-floor seats)
  • Daijin-Bashira on the right side of the stage.
  • Daijin-Bashira on the left side of the stage.
It refers to a pillar on the left of the Takemoto’s Yuka stage located on the right side of the stage, and another pillar on the right side of Kuromisu located on the left side of the stage. Between these two pillars is the “main stage”. In the early days of Kabuki, there was a roof above the stage sustained by the pillars which were originally called Daijin-bashira. Today, these pillars can be freely detached.
