After all, “Kyoganoko Musume Dojoji” became the definitive version of the subject and is still considered a representative repertoire for Onnagata dance. The play presents various elements of Onnagata dance consisted of many highlights, including “Michiyuki”, a dance on the Hanamichi accompanied by Takemoto, “Ranbyoshi”, a Noh-like dance wearing an Eboshi hat, and “Kudoki” in which the actor passionately expresses a young girl’s feeling of love.
