It refers to a part of Nagauta that incorporates a Noh chanting. A chanting in Noh includes all parts as well as lines that are sung in performances. Also, “Kakari” means to make the music similar to another type of style.
The screen shows a representative Onnagata dance “Kyoganoko Musume Dojoji”. Utai gakari starts from a part “Hana no hokaniwa matsu bakari (only pine trees besides cherry blossoms)”. This part also incorporates Noh steps into the dance posturing.
